Are GMPP CNC LS9 heads worth it? Apparently my engine has to be torn down to figure out whats wrong with it, figured I might try to have them swap on some LS9 heads & cam while they are already off the car. Looks like its $1600 for some CNC GMPP LS9 heads, anybody try this yet? Results?
The cylinder head ports and chambers are carefully redesigned to produce the best flow characteristics that will provide improved horsepower & torque. Lingenfelter L92/LS3 cylinder heads are precision CNC machined on our in house 5 axis CNC machine to insure that tight tolerances are maintained. Its going back on the dyno next week with a bigger 92mm TB as im only running a stock LS1 TB "75mm vs 92" body atm, ill post up results next week and they can see for themselfs. The LS3 has a pretty small exhaust valve so why such big pipes? Its duration and lift on the exhaust that seems to make them work better.

GM L92/LS3 CNC Ported Clinder Heads 2.0. PN: TEA-GML922-CUSTOM. Our stage 2 program takes our stage 1 port design to the next level and also adds a new redesigned fully cnc- machined combustion chamber. OMG! tons of power with the Patrick G tune behind it. if you are considering, I have another thread about the spring seats. they are bigger than a stock set like what comes on the Livernois Stage 1 DoD kit.
